Dave Windley, who joined the walking groups in 2015/16, has created some albums of beautiful photos taken on Closer to Home walks in Stoke North, South, East and West. They show how lucky we are in Stoke-on-Trent to have such a varied urban landscape to explore! You can view Dave's albums here:

Closer To Home Walking Network
We lead short free health walks every day around the beautiful parks and greenways in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas. They last up to an hour and a half  and are suitable for all ages and abilities. Our walking scheme is accredited by the national organisation Walking for Health.

Featured Walk:
Abbey Hulton, Every 2nd and 4th Monday in the month at 2pm. This walk takes in the historic Hulton Abbey park, the canal around Milton, Bagnall Wood and other green spaces. At present it is a small group of walkers, led by Geoff Kirkham; they are hoping to attract new members and you are warmly invited  to try out the walk. Meet at Breathe City Church, Leek Rd. ST2 8BY
